Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Spend a full hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family in Bwindi's Rushaga sector. Your UGWEC-certified guide, Moses Twinomugisha, reads the forest floor like a map, finding fresh knuckle-prints before you hear the first branch snap.
Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale
Kibale Forest holds one of Africa's densest chimpanzee populations. At dawn you follow the whoops and drum-rolls through the canopy, often finding the troop before they've finished their morning fig feast.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on Foot
Walk with a ranger to within twenty metres of a southern white rhino — one of Uganda's few wild-ranging individuals — on open grassland. No vehicle between you and the animal.
Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
The flat-bottomed boat drifts past a sandbank where three hundred hippos grunt and shove. African fish eagles call overhead, and buffalo stand knee-deep at the water's edge. Queen Elizabeth's channel rewards slow travel.
Murchison Falls from the Nile
The entire volume of the Nile forces itself through a seven-metre gap in the rock. On the evening boat ride you pass Nile crocodiles hauled onto banks lit amber by the falling sun.
Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth NP
The Kasenyi Plains at first light: Uganda kob performing their lekking displays, a lone lion moving through the dry grass, and a Verreaux's eagle owl watching from a candelabra euphorbia. Your driver kills the engine and you simply listen.

Day 1
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a representative from Arrive Africa Safaris will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala.Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or enjoy a peaceful stroll around the surrounding area.

Day 2
Rhino Viewing at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, begin your safari with a scenic drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos can be seen. Following lunch and a short rest, enjoy a guided rhino tracking experience led by experienced rangers. This low-impact activity is ideal for active seniors and offers opportunities to observe antelopes, birds, and other wildlife.

Day 3
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest protected area. In the afternoon, visit the top of the spectacular falls and witness the mighty Nile River force its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging into the river below. A short guided walk provides safe and accessible viewpoints for photography and sightseeing.

Day 4
Game Drive & Nile River Boat Cruise
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah plains, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before embarking on a leisurely afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, travel south through scenic countryside toward Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its remarkable primate population. Day 8
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 9
Wildlife Viewing & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Bwindi — Forest Walk & Community Visit
After breakfast, choose between two enriching experiences:
Option 1: Join a wildlife research team and participate in an educational conservation activity focused on monitoring big cats.
Option 2: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha Sector, famous for its unique tree-climbing lions. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and enjoy the peaceful forest surroundings.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
Today brings the highlight of your safari. After breakfast, attend a pre-trek briefing at the park headquarters before setting off in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Porters and walking sticks are available, and the pace of the trek is adjusted to suit participants' comfort levels. Once the gorillas are located, spend an unforgettable hour observing their daily interactions in the wild. Return to the lodge for relaxation and a special farewell dinner.

Scenic Flight to Entebbe & Departure

Depending on your international flight schedule, you may connect directly or enjoy a day room before departure.

Essential information
Minimum Age
60+ preferred; open to all fit adults. Trek difficulty is moderate — guests should be comfortable walking on uneven, sometimes steep forest terrain for 2–4 hours.
Safari Duffel
Soft-sided bags only for charter flights; maximum 15 kg checked plus 5 kg carry-on per person.
First Group Event
Welcome briefing at Entebbe Airport on arrival day, Day 1 at approximately 14:00.
Last Group Event
Group farewell dinner at Entebbe lakeside hotel, Day 11 evening.

Alternate Sightseeing
If a gorilla permit is unavailable on the scheduled day due to UWA allocation, we arrange an alternate trek day and adjust the schedule accordingly at no extra cost.
